Was skeptical of Pete’s because of the strip mall atmosphere, but walked in and was greeted with warm people and hot coffee, and with a blink of an eye I’m taking a bite into the Chicken Fried Steak was so flaky and hot, loved their version of the hash brown and paired well with their mild hot sauce. Don’t sleep on the baked goods here the biscuit was so flaky and delicious, and best grits I’d ever had. Good job guys

Happy anniversary! So glad we finally checked this spot out. The food was incredible (the chicken and waffles, huevos rancheros, and cinnamon roll are *chefs kiss*!), the service was friendly, and the place was spotless. 10/10 experience. We’ll definitely be returning!

Nice clean local family diner atmosphere, staff so warm and friendly. Estella walked to every table talking to the customers making sure everyone was doing good. The food was delicious. My husband had the catfish fingers which are season and fried perfect (not too hard and nice a crispy) the fried okra also good. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast which was real steak (not no packaged patty), seasoned, battered and fried to perfection. This is our new spot in Hutchins Tx for sure.

I've eaten there now a half dozen times and every visit was the same as the last. Great food, excellent service and good variety. I'm a big fan of the Migas and I love theirs. Everybody makes them a little different but theirs are the best around. If you want the family diner experience this place is it. Friendly and knowledgeable staff You won't be disappointed!!!
